Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED is intended for those involved in K-12 Education or childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
This audience includes childcare workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations. When taught to K-12 School Faculty, Staff, and Coaches a special Heartsaver® K-12 Schools certification will be issued.

- If you are a non-clinical member of the community not employed by South Lyon Medical Center, please select the ‘Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED – (Public: Certification Class)’ option.
- If you are a non-clinical member of the community employed by a K-12 School, and do not require a certification eCard, please select the ‘Heartsaver® for K-12 Schools – (Public: Certification Class)’ option.
Fees:
South Lyon Medical Center covers course fees for employees. Heartsaver® Workbooks for employees are available from the education library, with only the certification eCard fee being the employee’s responsibility.
Public certification courses are discounted and include the eCard certification; however, the required Heartsaver® Workbook is available at an additional cost.
